Henry...that's his name

So IT happened: Team Williams is now Three Williams. Three Cheers, right! Here's some pictures from the Birthing Day 11-6-08
This is Henry's mom before she gave birth to the coolest baby ever. She had a crazy time giving birth. Lots of crying and asking for more drugs. Lots of people having to cheer her on while crying and asking for more drugs. It took almost two hours to stitch her up after Henry finally came out. This is Henry, or Hal. He was a tenth of an ounce away from nine pounds. 9! Nine. Niner.
Big, beautiful baby boy.

This is Hal with his dad. They are both the handsomest kids that have ever set foot in the S. Birth Center. Willy is very good at EVERYTHING that involves taking care of the baby. These fellas are two peas in a pod.

So sorry about the rough labor and stitching process. Yuck. However, he is absolutely precious and very squeezable. Definitely worth it. Congratulations!!

CONGRATS! We are so happy for you guys. We were also wondering how your cute little body handled a 9 pound baby! He's beautiful though, congrats!

He is so handsome! Congrats! It's worth all that screaming and crying isn't it!

Oh, he's just beautiful. Love the name, love the babe. Eh, so I guess my would-be pep talk wasn't the truthiest? The stitching is the worst. Do you remember the T.M.I. my mother shared with you at the 2003 reunion after I birthed Ruby. Yaaaahhhh...we sound like two peas in a pod. Just carry that inflatable doughnut around with you. Restaurants, church, etc. even 10 weeks after the fact. Do not be ashamed. I can't wait to see more pictures of the boy and I will call you in a week or two once things settle down. It can be kind of overwhelming at first. But it gets so much better. From what I can tell, he's just beautiful. Good work kids. Love you all!

Oh congratulations! He is soooo precious! Those almost 9 pound babies definitely brings on the stitches. Which I also found out happens with a 8 lb 3 oz! Don't worry in a few you will be feeling a ton better! Congrats again!

P.S. I hope you had an epidural...

Congratulations--beautiful baby boy! I feel your pain, I remember the stitching process with mongo head Ryan like it was yesterday! The NICE thing about big strapping babies is they cam "afford" to lose more weight if nursing does not come "natural" :)
I think this is the first time I have commented on your blog even though you gave us the URL way back in Feb. right before we left the Island. Anyway, adorable baby baby.

Congratulations!!! I love the name by the way. Owie for you and the post natal sewing project. I don't think that's one they teach in home ech. You have one beautiful little boy and I'm so glad everything turned out well and that he's healthy and I love the pudgy cheeks.

WOW! Two things, I am in love with the name Henry. I have begged and begged and PLEADED to name our next boy Henry (we keep having girls) but Troy says NO! So you have a much cooler husband than I do in the baby name area and now for #2. You looked amazing. If I had a 9 pound baby inside me I would like a beached whale and I would have probably been harpooned about twice! I hope you recover well and that Henry is a great baby! Just know that I'm so jealous that you have a Henry or Hal!

Hal is such a cutie. I still can't get over his hands and feet or should I say paws. I hope your recovery is going well and that You and Matt got some alone time with Hal before Matt ships out. Let me know if you need anything.

Where's the stuff on your blog that talks about how your mother is waiting on you hand and foot?

So happy for you! SOOOOOO glad that Matt got to be there and so sorry for the aftermath.
Luckily you are being waited on day and night/thick and thin/sugar and spice/Rogers and Hammerstein/ebony and ivory/Mike and Ike/peanut butter and jelly/Abercrombie and Fitch/Peaches and Cream which brings up Peaches and Herb/Barnes and Noble/Captain and Tenille (but we like to call her Toe Nail)/fact and fiction/yin and yang/Salt-N-Pepa/sunrise-sunset (don't listen to that song right now, it'll make you cry but it's true) and most importantly Ben and Jerry's - okay all that and I'm sure more, by the lovely Mommacita.
Cherish the moments and please document heavily in photo form.
He is a dollbaby - so happy for your little family!
