Hello A,
This ones for you. I am attempting to communicate with you through a blog. I thought it would be nice to give you some little updates in the form of a list. And a'here we gooooooo:
1.What am I doing right this minute...Rolling my eyes at my hubby. He just informed me that one can of salsa lasted for one bag of chips. And then he looked like he accomplished something. Oh, wait -my 'rolling eyes' attitude has now changed into me thinking he is quite cute. I cannot lie, I am smitten.
2. How did I know you wanted an update...I read my mom's blog. She was talking about all the old junk she needed to throw away of her kids. Shamefully I admit, the tags were mine. She probably had to throw out boxes, old newspaper comic pages and the other COMPLETE weird and useless things I would keep through the years. I think I kept a roll of toilet paper that had hearts on it for more than ten years...stupid.
3. What do I do all day long in the Bahamas...I play with Henry. Here is a recent picture of him.

Its nice to have visual breaks.4. How often do I think about how bummed I am that you are not coming out here...Often to quite often. Single tear. The only thing that distracts me for my disappointment is knowing that others will make the trip out here (hooray j-boogie).
5. Do I secretly wish that I could live on the same street as you and have our husbands work together at the same office and write/illustrate children's books with you and take vacations to your hometown with you and reap the benefits of your crafty slash artistic endeavors....why yes, yes I do.

Henry is so, SO cute. I would even go as far to say that he is "darling", which as you know, is my mother's token word, so I, of course, try to steer clear of using it but there's no getting around it. He's absolutely darling. I love the expression on his face in this picture. He look a ton like you--I'm sure you get that all the time. I wish I could be there on the beach holding him right now and making him laugh. (I bet he has a great laugh.) But no. I'm here in the frigid East feeling (and let's be honest...LOOKING) like I should be giving birth tomorrow even though I have like 3.5 weeks left.
Yes. Let's live next to each other. Does Matt's school have any ties to schools in PA? Because PA is uh, awesome...um...for reals...you, like, should really move...here. You'd...love it. Beh. Well, if you were here it would make it a whole a lot better, that's fo sho'. Look into it. MI is too far. And so is FL.
Enjoy your Bahamas, Leighber. Breathe it in. Every day. Close your eyes and smile at the sunshine and hum some cheesy song about how great life is for me. I'll just be over here crouched down in my wintery cave, gnawing on a roasted turkey leg.
Hey . . . just wanted to drop a line and tell you how freakin' cute Henry is!!! Hope you are having fun and enjoying the sun. Tell Matt he inspired me to eat some chips and salsa! Miss you guys.

So, where abouts in the Bahamas are you. We're really thinking about a visit there~~~since you live there and all. A good excuse to get-a-way...and visit family since there is no reunion now.

Happy Anniversary the other day! 2 years and still going strong!
Henry it getting so BIG... and still just as cute!! (You know the guys say were they get all the good looks but us girls know where they really come from). We miss you guys so much and maybe we can start thinking of a Bahama vacation as soon as Matt takes this stupid test he has been studying months for. Wish him luck, he takes it on Tuesday! Love you guys tons!
